The Vine

For the start of Term 1 in 2011 we are looking at the book of Colossians – it’s in the New Testament in the bible.

It will be a great start to the year – there is heaps to look at as we tackle it together in discussion groups.

The theme for the series is “Lord of All” – its about how Jesus needs to be the Lord in every area of our lives.

Make sure you make it along to St Andys on Friday nights at 7pm to hang with everyone as we go through the “Lord of All” series!

Welcome back to the Vine for 2011! We are all set for a massive year – there are heaps of things that are going to be happening this year so be sure to stay tuned!

We’ll keep you updated on this website, but the most important thing is to keep coming along each Friday night!

Ready for Term 2?

Straight back from holidays we are jumping into the book of Acts!

We’ll be taking a crash course in some of the conversions that take place throughout the book.

Strap yourself in – it is going to be a crazy 4 weeks!

Well it has bEen a huge first term! And we are only half-way through it!

The Second half of TERm IS going to be even bigger thAn the first half! Think that you can handle it? Better get ready – because we are lOoking fUTher into what it means to “Live Life Upside Right”!

In the book of Philippians Paul is doing all he can to encourage the church at Philippi. One big way that we’ve seen so far is that he suffers so that he can tell more people about Jesus. HE isn’t worried about what other people think of him. He wantS people to follow Jesus.

The Vine is back for 2010!

Get a huge black marker and write it in your diaries! 29th January!

Meet us in the Main Hall at St Andrews Church Wahroonga at 7pm for a blast off for The Vine in 2010!

In Term 1 we are looking at a book from the bible called Philippians!

Paul writes a letter to the Philippian church encouraging them.

While encouraging them, Paul turns their lives ‘upside right’ – helping them to see things from God’s point of view.

We’ll hear things from Paul like “Bad = Good” (5th Feb) and “Loss = Profit” (5th Mar).
